THE MAN BEHIND THE PRICE

MARCIO FONSECA

Thirty years painting, twenty of them in Orlando. Most of those as project manager for one of Florida’s largest commercial painting contractors, the one the theme parks call. One standard, applied to all of it, including your hallway.

THE WORK WE CAN’T NAME.

Most of Marcio’s twenty years in Orlando were spent on sites where you sign a confidentiality agreement before anyone hands you a brush. You have walked through that work. The line you stood in. The wall you leaned against. The ceiling you never once looked at.

We are not permitted to name any of it, and we will not. Worth saying plainly, because discretion is the other half of this trade. Marcio’s crews work in places where being invisible is written into the contract. The same habit comes to your house: clean, quiet, gone when we said we would be.

We signed something. We keep it. That is also a reference.

WHERE THE STANDARD COMES FROM.

For years Marcio was not holding the brush on these jobs. He was running them. Project manager for one of Florida’s largest commercial painting contractors: scheduling the crews, specifying the systems, and signing off the work on resorts, hospitals and attractions. On an attraction, a visible flaw is not a snag item; it is a photograph taken by thousands of people a day. The deadline is an opening, and openings do not move. Thirty years inside that tolerance is exactly what the price difference buys. It is why the preparation takes longer than you expect, and why the finish lasts longer than you expect.

“I have never handed over a wall I would not want in my own house. That is the whole business.”
Marcio Fonseca, founder

WHY A MAN WHO PAINTS ATTRACTIONS WILL PAINT YOUR HALLWAY.

It is a fair question, and the honest answer is that it is the same work to the same tolerance on a smaller surface. A commercial schedule is unforgiving about dates and generous about nothing. A house gets the same rule: two dates on the quote, and we keep both.

Residential is not a sideline here. It is the whole of Painting Wizard. The man who set the standard is the man who checks the work.

A FAMILY, NOT A FRANCHISE.

Marcio runs the company and sets the standard every crew works to. Felipe is project manager, trained by his father, and they both run the jobs day to day. Claudia runs the office.

Marcio walks the house before the quote and again before you pay. When he cannot, Felipe does. His father trained him for exactly that.

A family business means there is nobody to pass your complaint to. That is deliberate.

The quote will not be the cheapest one you get. It will be the one with the product names, the dates and the warranty printed on it. And the one nobody has to redo in less than two years.
